“The body is our general medium for having a world.” (Maurice Merleau-Ponty)

The body-organism is linked to the world through a network of primal significations that arise from our perception of things.

The lived body is one’s own body as experienced from within, manifesting itself through our possibilities of acting in the world.

This philosophy forms the foundation of my artistic practice. Through facial expressions, I explore the emotional essence of iconic places: in my Colosseum piece, I sought to express the anger and suffering embedded in its history through the figure’s face, while in my Taj Mahal piece, I conveyed kindness, love, and compassion through gentle and peaceful facial expressions, reflecting the monument’s enduring symbolism of love.
